Join the Neighboring Initiative!

The Neighboring Initiative exists to bring collaboration in the City of Costa Mesa to create pathways for individuals to experience impactful relationships with their neighbors, for every neighborhood to have an “Intentional Neighboring Network”, and for local organizations to work better together.

Thank you for joining our Intentional Neighboring Network!

For 2023-2024, we will be hosting quarterly "Intentional Neighbors Celebration" to honor all of our Intentional Neighboring efforts. Our goal for these gatherings is to celebrate our intentional neighbors, get connected with resources to support vulnerable neighbors, and hear the impact of being an intentional neighbor has on our city. Every quarter, we will invite a key city leader to share on "Why Neighboring Matters", Please see below for 2023-2024 Dates & special guests:

October 16th, 2023 - Arlis Reynolds, Costa Mesa City Council Member

January 22nd, 2024 - Andy Godinez, Costa Mesa Code Enforcement Officer

April 22nd, 2024 - Adam Ereth, Costa Mesa Planning Commissioner Chair 

August 19th, 2024 - Charlene Ashendorf,  Costa Mesa Cultural Arts Commissioner Chair/Orange County Senior Citizen Advisor
